WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ARTICLES NOT CLAIMED OVER 30 DAYS, AND STORAGE FEE OF 50% OF THE TOTAL COST WILL APPLY. UNCLAIMED GARMENTS WILL BE HANDLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE REGULATIONS. RUSH ORDERS ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO BE READY IN ANY WAYS. THESE ORDERS ONLY MARKED AS RUSH ORDERS AND MOST OF THE TIME THEY ARE READY ON TIME, BUT NOT GUARANTEED. WE DON'T COMPENSATE IF RUSH ORDERS NOT READY ON TIME. ALL ORDERS WILL BE READY ON A WEEKLY BASIS TURNAROUND. We exercise utmost care in processing articles entrusted to us and use such processes which, in our opinion, are best suited to the nature and condition of each individual article. Nevertheless, we cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses of or defects in materials that are not readily apparent prior to processing. This applies particularly, but not exclusively, to suedes, leathers, silks, satins, double-faced fabrics, vinyl, polyurethanes, etc. Responsibility also is disclaimed for trimmings, buckles, beads, buttons, bells and sequins. In laundering we cannot guarantee against color loss and shrinkage: or against damage to weak and tender fabrics. Differences in count must be reported, and your ticket presented, within 48 hours. Unless a list accompanied the bundle, our count must be accepted. The company's liability with respect to any lost or damaged article shall not exceed 8 times our charge for processing it.

 

All Sold & Rental Items Disclaimer 

First Class Formal Wear/First Class Clothier rental policy exists to ensure equal standards and quality of service throughout all our corporate locations. The policy as follows:

As part of the rental agreement, customers are required to attend a final fitting upon delivery of their rental. If, for any reason, a customer is unable to attend the final fitting, 
the responsibility of the fit is then the responsibility of the customer, not First Class Formal Wear/First Class Clothier.

At the time of your rental pick up please allow for adequate time to review and try on your rental to ensure accuracy and fit.

Our total liability for any claim or litigation arising from or relating to the rental garments is limited to the actual charges actually paid for each item by the customer.

Rentals are due back on your scheduled return date following the event. Failure to return all rental garments will result in a $25 per day late fee that will continue to accrue until the rental is returned and the fee is paid.

Lost, missing, or damaged rental items (if the damage exceeds $100 or is irreversible) must be purchased at full sale price upon return of the rest of the rental.
First Class Formal Wear/First Class Clothier is not responsible for any personal property left in the returned rental or garment bag.

‘Rush Orders’ or rentals that are required less than 4 weeks after the reservation day will be subject to a ‘rush fee’. The rushed nature of these orders means that these items cannot be guaranteed, 
and in an event that the item requested is unavailable, an associate will arrange an appropriate substitution.

There are absolutely NO REFUNDS on rental cancellations for any reason. Partial refund may consider if the rentals not being used or before the rental items being delivered to our store.

This policy is subject to change without notice but should the policy change during the time a rental is being used, the original policy that was in effect at the time of eservation will be upheld.

​ONLINE RETURN POLICY

Items purchased online from First Class Formal Wear/First Class Clothier may be returned for refund within 7 days of receipt of product, if the following applies:

  • Item is unworn, undamaged and unopened from original packaging
  • Item has all original tags intact.
  • Item has not been hemmed, altered or printed prior to shipping

Returned items will be refunded once received back to First Class Formal Wear/First Class Clothier Head Office, and the above conditions are confirmed to be met.  Shipping charges, both delivery and return, will not be reimbursed. First Class Formal Wear/First Class Clothier is not responsible for any lost or misdelivered return packages.First Class Formal Wear/First Class Clothier reserves the right to refuse any refund. 

Brick-and-mortar stores cannot offer refunds for online purchases, however items may be dropped off to a Corporate First Class Formal Wear/First Class Clothier store in lieu of shipping.
Proof of purchase is required for in-store drop off, and refund will be issued via original online payment method once items are received to First Class Formal Wear/First Class Clothier Head Office location.

EXCEPTIONS TO ABOVE RETURN POLICY

The following items are exempt from refund eligibility, and considered final sale:

  • Products associated with hygiene and public safety (including but not limited to swimwear or underwear)
  • Printed or customized items (including but not limited to corporate brand wear, custom-designed apparel, items sold for charity donation)
  • Altered or tailored items (including but not limited to suits, tuxedos, dress pants)

First Class Formal Wear/First Class Clothier reserves the right to change this Return Policy without notice to its customers and will not be held responsible for any loss or damage suffered as
a result of such changes.

To start a return, you can contact us at contact@firstclassclothier.com . If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
